Progress in many areas is now driven by advances in computing technology. Through this Strength, UB is creating a platform for innovative research that directly shapes the future.

Clustered around three areas of research—information science, computational science and human-computer interaction—this Strength brings together faculty from more than 20 academic departments and includes a number of nationally recognized affiliated centers and researchers.
