Japan is largely known for ultra fast Internet and a culture that has an insatiable thirst for technology. Surprisingly Apple, a company that has managed to ’sweep the US’ has struggled in this particular local, which might explain why Dell’s latest touchscreen desktop computer is popping up in Japan first. At the center of the Studio One 19 PC is an 18.5-inch screen that’s available in a touch and nontouch format and can finished in several colors, including Solid Pure White, Tuscan Red, Navy Blue, Powder Pink and Charcoal. Powering this machine is your choice of Intel Celeron, Dual Core Celeron, Pentium Dual Core, Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad processor, 1-4GB of RAM, 750GB hard drive, 6x USB port, 7-in-1 media card reader, slot loading DVD player and NVIDIA GeForce 9200 or 9400 graphics card. Optional is a Blu-ray player, WiFi b/g/n, webcam and facial recognition security.
The Studio One 19 PC from Dell will hit the US later this Spring and start at $700.
